Salamander is thrilled to take part in the upcoming BAU trade fair in Munich. From January 13 to 17, the leading system manufacturer for window and door profiles will showcase groundbreaking, tailor-made window solutions across a 200-square-meter exhibit. These solutions are perfectly crafted to suit different architectural periods, elevating renovations both aesthetically and energetically.
At the heart of the presentation lies a commitment to sustainability and innovative materials, offering window surfaces that are not only visually striking but also tangible to the touch—designed with cutting-edge, eco-friendly formulations.
Visitors can look forward to product highlights such as innovative material concepts, the multi-award-winning Greta®Fenster_loop (recipient of the German Design and Red Dot awards), the sleek and minimalist bluEvolution82_straight window sash, and the evolutionDrive_HST sliding system featuring a zero-threshold design for seamless transitions.

Salamander windows combine tactile surfaces with sustainable materiality. Visitors can look forward to an immersive showcase featuring products that range from a tactile concrete look to realMaterial premium laminations made of copper or recycled leather. This makes clear how Salamander merges sustainability goals with tactile design.
Among the highlights is the Greta®Fenster_loop, made entirely from 100% recycled materials and presented in a monochromatic concrete look. Its tangible surfaces, crafted from post-industrial materials, significantly reduce raw material demand and CO² emissions.

Epoch-appropriate renovation in a Sustainable Set-Up
In the “Typology” cube, Salamander demonstrates how its modular systems provide tailored window solutions for every architectural era. These solutions enhance renovations both aesthetically and energetically.
Sustainability and design take center stage: material consumption is reduced, recycled content is increased, window weight is minimized, and insulation values as well as light and energy intake are improved. A standout highlight is the greenEvolution_free window sash, featuring slim sightlines of just 100 mm that replicate the elegant appearance of wooden windows.
Designs Highlights
Salamander debuts the new minimalist window sash bluEvolution82_straight, part of the modular bluEvolution series. Visitors can look forward to a system that excels in any setting, setting benchmarks in solar energy gains, light transmission, slim sightlines, and maximum construction heights of up to 2.80 meters.
With optional aluminum cladding on the frame, the system achieves an elegant design while offering improved insulation values—at a fraction of the cost compared to conventional aluminum windows.
In the sliding systems segment, Salamander introduces the new evolutionDrive_HST lift-sliding door, enhancing the product showcase with large-format window elements that offer optimal stability and efficient thermal insulation.
The exhibited model also features a zero-threshold solution for seamless transitions. Thanks to its easy adaptation with ramps, it is ideal for parquet or terrace renovations—perfect for barrier-free and low-barrier living.
